FULL DAY TRADICIONAL CAJAMARCA
Description
Day 01- Traditional-Cajamarca-Tours
In the Cajamarca region there are different customs and traditional festivals, the most famous being Carnaval. Typically the local people (as well as people coming in from all over the country) sing and dance to traditional carnival songs. In this full day tour of Cajamarca, you’ll be able to see a little of the traditions of the local people and the history of the area.
EXCURSION TO PORCON FARM + LA COLPA + INCA BATHS
In the morning we will pick you up from your hotel and visit the Stone Carving Craft Center in Huambocancha. From here we will visit the Porcón Farm (Cooperative Atahualpa Jerusalem), where we will enjoy the Forest of Pines (artificial Peru's largest pine forest), craft workshops for men and women, and their small hydroelectric central. After lunch we’ll visit the Hacienda La Colpa, the artificial lake, the Chapel of the Virgen del Carmen, Central Stable and you’ll be able to witness the call of the cows by their names as well as a milk tasting. We will then go to Llacanora (a typical picturesque village in the highlands) where you will enjoy the beautiful waterfalls and finally we will get to know the famous Inca Baths,The Pozo del Inca and Perolitos (hot springs). We’ll return to Cajamarca in the evening where we’ll stay overnight.

DAY 01: CAJAMARCA IN / CITY TOUR
On the first day of your tour in and around Cajamarca, we’ll go on a City Tour of Cajamarca. We’ll visit the Plaza Mayor, Church of St. Catalina of Alexandria (Cathedral), SanFrancisco Church (catacombs), Rescue Room (Cuarto de Rescate), Belen Church, Colonial Hospital for men and women (Archaeological , Ethnographic and Medical Museum), the Cerro Santa Polonia, the Inca Chair, and the Mirador which overlooks the city and valley of Cajamarca. We’ll overnight in Cajamarca.
DAY 02: CUMBEMAYO / VENTANILLAS DE OTUZCO
We’ll start the day by visiting Cumbemayo. We’ll visit the natural vantage point of Bellavista, Layzón, Forest Park, reaching Cumbemayo, where we find the famous Stone Forest or Fraylones, The Sanctuary, caves and shelters, the Stone of Sacrifice, ceremonial altars, petroglyphs (stone writing), Hydraulic Canal (3000 years old) and the aqueduct. After lunch we’ll enjoy the beauty of the Valley of Cajamarca and Chonta River, crossing the suspension bridge, here you can ride a horse, then visit the necropolis of the Ventanillas de Otuzco (cemetery of Cajamarca culture), then go to the Giant Hydrangeas Garden, then tour the Hacienda "Three Mills" and the "The Alpes" where you can enjoy dairy products and the cheese factory. We’ll end the tour in Cajamarca where we’ll stay overnight.

In this 3 day tour of the Cajamarca region, you’ll be able to experience the local traditions, history and natural landscapes.
DAY 01: CAJAMARCA IN / CITY TOUR
On the first day of your tour we’ll pick you up and bring you to your hotel. DAY 04: CAJAMARCA OUT
On the fourth day we will pick you up from your hotel and bring you to the bus station or to the airport.
