Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before transferring to the airport for your flight to Arequipa. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed and taken to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to explore the charming streets, the stunning Plaza de Armas, and the museums of Arequipa, also known as the White City. For those interested, an optional excursion to the Arequipeña countryside is available. At 2:00 PM, we will pick you up from your hotel to begin a tour of La Campiña Arequipeña. This engaging tour will take you to some of the most beautiful architectural sites and viewpoints around the city. First, we will visit the picturesque Mirador de Sachaca, which offers a stunning panoramic view of Arequipa and its surrounding volcanoes.

Next, we will drive to the Founder's Mansion, a colonial-era building where Arequipa's founder, García Manuel de Carvajal, resided in the 15th century. We will then continue to the Molino de Sabandia, an impressive structure made from volcanic sillar stone, featuring an old stone mill dating back to 1785. DAY 5 | Puno - Titicaca - Uros & Taquile Islands.

Start your day with breakfast at the hotel. At around 7:00 AM, we will pick you up and transfer you to the port of Lake Titicaca. There, our local guide will meet us with a boat to begin our Lake Titicaca adventure. As we set off, the guide will provide insights about the lake, and soon we will reach the renowned floating islands of Los Uros. We will visit one of these islands, meet its residents, and learn about the customs of these highland communities who have lived here for years. After our visit, we will board the boat again and continue our journey to Taquile Island, which takes about three hours.

Taquile Island is known for its exquisite textiles. On arrival, you’ll see how locals craft traditional Andean garments such as ponchos, belts, and gloves, all made by hand. To reach the top of the island, we will walk along a scenic, gently sloping path with stunning views of the lake. Since the island is situated at over 3800 meters above sea level, we recommend taking your time and walking slowly. After approximately 45 minutes, we will arrive at the heart of Taquile, where you can rest and visit a small museum showcasing important aspects of Taquile life through photographs.

Lunch will be served at a local restaurant near the plaza. Following lunch, you’ll have free time to explore the weaving workshops and take photos with the islanders. Later, we will descend to the pier and begin our return journey to Puno, arriving around 5:00 PM. We will spend the night at a hotel in Puno.

Overnight stay in Puno.

Each stop will last between 20 to 40 minutes, allowing you to ask questions, take photos, and explore at your own pace, making this a truly memorable experience.

We will arrive in Cusco around 4:30 PM, where you will be picked up and transferred to your hotel for the night.

Our knowledgeable guide will provide detailed information about each of the tourist attractions we visit, and will be available to address any questions or needs you may have.

The tour will include visits to several significant sites: the Main Temple of the Sun, also known as Qoricancha; Sacsayhuaman, which represents the head of the Puma in reference to Cusco’s shape during Inca times; Qenqo, a temple dedicated to Pachamama, or Mother Earth; Pucapucara, which served as an entrance control point for the Sacred City of Cusco; and Tambomachay, an Inca rest stop and temple dedicated to the element of water.

Overnight stay in Cusco.

DAY 8 | Sacred Valley Tour and Train to Aguas Calientes Town

At 8:00 AM, we will pick you up from your hotel to begin our tour of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. We’ll depart the city and cross the Sacsahuaman archaeological park, reaching the Taray viewpoint. From here, you can admire the stunning Inca terraces and the current agricultural lands surrounding the sacred river of the Incas, Willcamayuc. Next, we will visit the archaeological park of Pisaq and explore its vibrant indigenous market, where locals sell and purchase essential goods. The Pisaq market is an excellent spot for finding handicrafts and souvenirs.

After some free time at the market, we’ll proceed to the town of Urubamba, where you can enjoy a buffet lunch featuring a variety of local dishes made from regional ingredients. Continuing our journey, we will arrive at Ollantaytambo, the last living Inca city. This city is steeped in a legendary love story, believed to have been constructed by General Inca Ollantay during a rebellion against the royal Inca army to prevent his union with the beautiful Princess Cusi Qoyllor, or “beautiful star.”

Following some free time, we will board the tourist train to Aguas Calientes, also known as Machu Picchu town. Upon arrival, you will be transferred from the train station to your selected hotel.

Optionally, you can visit the town’s hot springs.

Overnight stay in Aguas Calientes.

DAY 9 | Aguas Calientes/ Machu Picchu / Cusco

Upon arrival, we will begin a 2-hour guided tour of the main palaces and attractions within the city.

After the tour, you will have free time to explore this wonder of the world at your own pace. We suggest visiting key sites such as the Casa de las Escogidas, the Intiwatana (a sundial that marks seasonal changes), Kallancas (warrior sheds), the baths and aqueducts, and the extensive terraces. You might also consider climbing Huayna Picchu, visiting the Puerta del Sol, or exploring the Inca Bridge, depending on your interests.
