Day 1 | Cusco – Pona lodge
Depart Cusco by bus at 6:00 AM. Our first stop will be at the burial towers of Ninamarca. After about four hours of travel, we’ll reach the village of Paucartambo, a charming colonial town in the Andes. From there, we will continue to "Acjanaco," the gateway to Manu Park, and begin our descent into the enigmatic cloud forest. This area boasts a stunning array of flora and fauna, including orchids, ferns, and the Cock of the Rocks (Rupicola peruviana). We’ll have the chance to witness the famous mating dance of Peru’s national bird, and, with some luck, spot trogons and the elusive spectacled bear. We will then arrive in Pilcopata, where we will spend our first night.

DAY 2 | PONA LODGE – PAPAYA LODGE
We will wake up very early we take the bus about 1 hour to reach the river port of Atalaya to Papaya Eco lodge, where begging our trip journey by Madre de Dios River (amazon river). And 2hours we will arrive to hot spring where will enjoy as 1hours, still to lunch time and them continue still to Papaya eco lodge, where we have chances to fishing on the lagoon and finely with nocturnal activities. DAY 3 | CASA MACHINGENKA
Following visits to tourist areas of the Manu National Park. Now we travel the Manu River, at least 7 and 10 hours, having carefully watching wildlife. This day we hope to see many more species of birds and animals such as black and white caiman and especially fortunate in one day or a couple of Jaguar. By late afternoon, we reached the Casa Machiguenga lodge, we have accommodation is basic and rustic and intimate surroundings of the jungle of Manu. Managed exclusively by native Machiguenga, original caretakers of the jungle of Manu. (Optional Night Walk).

DAY 4 | CASA MACHINGENKA
Among the most intriguing destinations are the Otorongo and Salvador oxbow lakes, where we encounter a rich diversity of wildlife and plant life. Our guide will help us uncover the secrets of the rainforest as we explore observation trails, aiming to spot 13 species of monkeys and other fascinating aspects of this unique ecosystem. Understanding the importance of conserving our planet will be a key part of our experience. Following the guide’s instructions, we may have the opportunity to see large vertebrates such as giant otters, tapirs, and peccaries. Additionally, we will visit the Macaw Clay Lick, where we can observe various activities. As we return, we might see different monkey species, an impressive variety of birds, and possibly the majestic flight of the jungle condor, the king of vultures. We will spend the night at our lodge, which offers exclusive accommodations and excellent services for our guests.

DAY 5 | CASA MACHIGENGA - PAPAYA ECO LODGE- (CAMUFLAGE HOUSE)
On this day, we might spot the elusive Jaguar along the Manu Riverbanks. After a breakfast on the boat, we'll continue our journey aboard our motorboat, navigating up the Madre de Dios River. The trip will take approximately 7 hours, with several interesting stops along the way. We will arrive at the Papaya Eco Lodge, an eco-friendly accommodation, later in the day. In the evening, we’ll engage in the most exciting activity: spending the night at the camouflage house. From this vantage point, we may witness tapirs coming to lick the mineral-rich mud. With some luck, we could observe these remarkable creatures multiple times throughout the night.

DAY 6 | PAPAYA LODGE - CUSCO
On our final day, we’ll take an outboard boat back to the Port of Atalaya. From there, we will transfer to our private bus for the journey back to Cusco, where we expect to arrive around 6:00 PM.

- Pre-departure Information: You will meet with your Manu guide at our office for an orientation before your tour. Private minivan.
- Maritime and Land Transportation: Land transportation by minivan and maritime transportation with outboard motor.
- Accommodation, Hostels, Lodge (5 nights): This lodge is known for offering an immersive jungle experience, with facilities designed to blend with the natural surroundings. They are typically built with materials from the jungle, and one night in a blind might be included in the tour.
- Qualified Bilingual Naturalist Guide with Equipment: A professional, educated guide who grew up in this region and has a genuine passion for teaching others about their heritage. Your guide will explain the culture and surroundings throughout the route, including leading your group.
