This journey along the Salkantay Trek represents an extraordinary experience that links us to Machu Picchu. The panoramas are dominated by glaciers, mountains and the beautiful Humantay lagoon, along with lush vegetation, which which makes this tour one of the most impressive. We will cross the highest snowy of the Vilcabamba mountain range until we reach Llactapata, located behind the majestic Machu Picchu mountain. , ending our tour in Aguas Calientes, at the foot of the Historical Sanctuary of Machu Picchu. Thus we culminate an incomparable adventure that allows us to connect with nature, culture and history.
- Day 1: CUSCO - SORAYPAMPA – SALKANTAY PASS – CHAULLAY – COLLPA – LODGE DEL CIELO.
- Day 2: CHAULLAY - BEACH - SANTA TERESA – MACHU PICCHU VILLAGE.
- Day 3: HOT WATERS - MACHU PICCHU – OLLANTAYTAMBO – CUSCO.
Day 1: CUSCO - SORAYPAMPA – SALKANTAY PASS – CHAULLAY – COLLPA – LODGE DEL CIELO.
Pick up from the hotel will be approximately 4:30 am, then we will take a trip in our private transportation of approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes to Soraypampa, where we will begin our Salkantay Trek, and here we will have a box lunch before the start of the walk. After the box lunch we will begin our walk towards the snow-capped Salkantay 4,650 m, where we will be able to appreciate all the majesty of the area, its chain of mountains, glaciers and ravines, we will feel the magic of the Andes, after a restful rest we will begin the slow descent towards Huayracmachay, where we will have lunch and a well-deserved rest. We will continue descending and enter the jungle area where we will have indescribable views of the place and then continue the walk to our first camp in the Collpa sector where we will have dinner and spend the night.
About our Heaven Lodge in Collpapampa: Our camp is located 10 minutes walk from the town of Chaullay; Chaullay is a very busy campsite however our camp in Collpapampa gives us a great advantage of having a 360 degree panoramic view of the Salkantay Trek Valley, it is also a perfect place, away from the crowd and where we can get to know a little more of local families.

Day 2: COLLPA - BEACH - SANTA TERESA – MACHU PICCHU VILLAGE.
This day will be unforgettable. After breakfast we will continue with the walk through the jungle, we appreciate the flora and fauna of this area, especially the coffee plantations, tea, trees, the climate is temperate and humid in this area, which is why a favorable microclimate for the production of orchids that, due to their colors and variety, have been classified by experts as the most beautiful in the world. We will continue with the walk until we reach the Hydroelectric station, for lunch. After a rest we continued with the walk to the town of Aguas Calientes 2000 meters above sea level. Optional: You can go to the thermal baths which is at a distance of 1.2 kilometers from the town, at night we will have dinner and accommodation at the hotel (optional coffee tour).
Note: those who prefer not to go on the excursion from Hidroeléctrica to Aguas Calientes can take the train that will take them in 40 minutes "the price is not included." They will meet the rest of the group at the Aguas Calientes train station. (The guide confirms his preferences the night before).

Day 3: AGUAS CALIENTES - MACHU PICCHU – OLLANTAYTAMBO - CUSCO.
Very early, immediately after breakfast at the Lodging, we will go by bus to the citadel of Machu Picchu ascending for the average period, until we reach the access point and entry control of Machu Picchu where we will have a guided tour of the urban area. and agricultural, as well as the towers, ceremonial plazas, sacred fountain, the Intihuatana or sundial and terraces from where you can contemplate the Inca's domains. After a guide of approximately 2 hours, we will have free time to take photos and in coordination with the guide we will descend to the town of Aguas Calientes. We will board the return train to Ollantaytambo where transportation awaits us to take us back to Cusco, finally we will drop you off at your respective hotel.
Very important 1: According to the regulations of Machu Picchu, once we enter the sacred city it is not allowed to return along the same roads "there are many signs about which route we should follow, we will only be able to stop at some places or simply our return to the place where we were before”, that is why we advise you to enjoy every minute that you can be in each Inca place.
Very important 2: According to the regulation of Machu Picchu, the tickets can be used only once, it means that once you leave the city of Inka, you will not be able to return, unless you get a new ticket .
Return to Cusco: You will descend to Aguas Calientes and then board the Expedition train at 4:22 p.m. to arrive at the Ollantaytambo train station, where you will meet our mobility and will be transferred to your hotel in Cusco, arriving around 8:30 p.m.

- Private camping equipment: We have accommodations in our camps. Additionally, all our equipment such as tables, chairs, kitchen equipment, etc. They are transported by our muleteers.
- Night 1: Enjoy our first night in our Sky Lodge at Camp Collpapampa. You will find a comfortable bed and a thick camping mattress free of charge. The camp is surrounded by the sacred mountains.
- Night 2: The second night at the hotel is included, Casa de Luz is located in the town of Aguas Calientes, an accommodation that has private bathroom services, hot water, Wi-Fi, breakfast. It is also known as the town of Machu Picchu; Hotel prices will vary depending on your expectations and budget.
- Note: It is not common for camps, cabins or hotels to change after confirmation. However, it may vary depending on government regulations and authorizations, also due to adverse weather conditions and perhaps due to the physical condition of our visitors.
- Camping equipment: Dining and kitchen tents, tables, chairs and cooking equipment (all carried by our porters and horses).
- Entrance ticket to the Inka site of Machu Picchu
- 1 duffel bag: You can put your personal luggage, up to (7 kgs / 14.02 lbs). Including your sleeping bag; This bag will be carried by our horses.
- Mule/Horse Loading: We will deliver your duffle bag to you at your briefing the night before; to carry the things you will need. You will not have access to your duffel bag until you arrive at your overnight camp. On day 1, our mules/horses carry all camping equipment and your personal luggage allowance (7 kgs/14.02 lbs). On day 2, your luggage will be transported by car or train to your destination until we arrive at Machu Picchu.
- Professional trekking chef: A professional chef specialized in cooking on the road, with an assistant, will prepare all your delicious meals throughout our journey on the road to replenish your energy every day .
- Meals in the middle of the mountain: If you have any dietary restrictions (options: Vegetarians, vegans, celiacs, etc.). Indicate us in the reservation and indicate it in the information meeting with the guide.
- Boiled water: From your first lunch to your last breakfast, which will be at your hotel, Inka Trail Expeditions will supply all the necessary water. This water will be boiled, filtered and then cooled, before being distributed. You must supply your own water bottles.
- Wake up with tea: Every morning at camp, you'll wake up to a cup of coca tea! Our staff will bring the tea to your tent to warm from the inside out before you start your day.
