Day 1 | CUSCO â PONA LODGE
Departing from Cusco in our comfortable bus, we will head towards Paucartambo. Along the way, we'll visit the funeral towers or chullpas of Ninamarca. The bus will descend through the enchanting cloud forest, adorned with beautiful orchids, heliconias, and ancient ferns. We will stop to observe the mating ritual of the Cock of the Rocks (Rupicola peruviana), and with some luck, we might spot the Amazonian Umbrella Bird (Cephalopterus ornatus), Trogons (Trogon sp.), and, if fortunate, the Spectacled Bear (Tremarctos ornatus). In the evening, we'll arrive at a traditional lodge where showers and toilets are shared.

DAY 2 | PONA LODGE âPAPAYA ECO LODGE
After delicious breakfast in the morning the bus transfers the group to the port of Atalaya. Aproximality you will go 4 hours on the Alto Madre de Dios River. On the way you can see a variety of bird life as herons, egrets, kingfishers, and the ever-present vultures of which the most spectacular the King Vulture (Sarcoramphus papa). Around to the mid-day where have time to enjoy hot spring (1H) and this activity we arrived our lodge, in the evening we have night walk for explore night animals and frog, toad and snake and spider. This nigh also we go to the small ox bow lake or stream for looking for Caiman.

DAY 3 | PAPAYA ECO LODGE - CAMUFLAGE HOUSE (CLAY LICK TAPIR)
On this day, we will venture into the forest to explore what nature has in store for us. We will search for monkeys, mammals, macaws, parrots, or even jaguars, depending on our luck. We'll also observe various species of trees, bushes, flowers, and medicinal plants. During lunchtime, we'll enjoy traditional jungle cuisine. In the afternoon, we'll delve deeper into the jungle.
At night, we'll engage in fascinating activities at a camouflage house where we'll spend the night. There, we may have the chance to see tapirs coming to lick the mineral-rich muddy earth. If we're fortunate, we might witness this behavior several times throughout the night.

- Pre-departure Information: You will meet with your Manu guide at our office for an orientation before your tour. Private minivan transportation is provided.
- Maritime and Land Transportation: Travel includes land transportation by minivan and maritime transportation with an outboard motor.
- Accommodation (3 nights): Stay in a lodge known for its immersive jungle experience, designed to blend with the natural surroundings using materials from the jungle.
