Day 1: Arrival in Cusco - City Tour: Sacsayhuaman & Nearby Ruins

When you will be arrived in Cusco in the morning, we’ll pick you up and bring you to your hotel. You’ll have the rest of the morning to rest until it’s time for our City Tour. In the afternoon we will visit Cusco, a great example of the mixture of the Andean and Spanish cultures. We will start our tour by visiting the Santo Domingo Convent, built over Koricancha, an ancient Inca palace and main worship center of the Sun God.

Afterwards we will stop at the Main Square (Plaza de Armas) where we’ll see the Cathedral and the beautiful Church of La Compañía. We will visit the Sacsayhuaman Fortress, an imposing sample of Inca architecture which is located above the city. At the tour we will take a look at the archaeological sites of Qenko, Puca-Pucara and Tambomachay.

Day 2: Sacred Valley of the Incas – Pisac Market & Ruins - Ollantaytambo

On the second day of our tour we’ll head out to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, stopping to take in the view of the Urubamba Valley. We’ll go to the Pisac market first where we will have time view the local craftsmen and purchase their hand-made souvenirs.

We will continue to the town of Urubamba for a buffet lunch and afterwards we will visit Ollantaytambo, a historic town founded by the Incas with remarkable channels and stone streets. From here we’ll go to the train station and take a train to Machu Picchu Village, also known as Aguas Calientes.

DAY 03.- Machu Picchu “The Lost City of the Incas”

Today we’ll visit one of the most magical and mysterious locations in the world: Machu Picchu! We’ll start off by taking the bus up to Machu Picchu in the morning. You’ll tour the area with a professional tour guide giving you an unforgettable experience in this enigmatic city.

It will be an unforgettable experience, where a professional tour guide will explain the history of this mysterious city. After the guided tour, you will have time to explore Machu Picchu on your own. Afterwards we’ll go down to Aguas Calientes to take a train and return to Cusco.

Day 02: Sacred Valley of the Incas – Pisac Market & Ruins - Ollantaytambo

We will go on towards the Sacred Valley of the Incas, taking the direct route to Pisac. We will stop on the way to have a classic view of the Urubamba valley. We will arrive at the colorful market of Pisac, where we will have time to watch local craftsmen try to sell their handmade goods or we can buy their souvenirs.

rom here we will continue to the town of Urubamba for a buffet lunch. Finally, we will visit Ollantaytambo, a town built by the Incas with remarkable channels and stone streets. At one end of the city, there is an impressive ceremonial center dedicated to the worship of water and a fortress that guarded the access to the inferior part of the valley. After staying in Ollantaytambo for a while, we’ll go to the train station where we’ll take the train to Machu Picchu City. Also known as Aguas Calientes.

DAY 03.- Machu Picchu “The Lost City of the Incas”

Today you will visit one of the most enigmatic and magical places in the world: Machu Picchu! From your hotel we’ll walk to the bus which will bring you up to Machu Picchu Inca City. When we are inside, our guide will give us a tour of the main sites of this mysterious city. After the tour you will have time to walk around Machu Picchu at your own pace. At the scheduled time, we will go down to the Aguas Calientes town. Return to Cusco by train.

Day 04: Cusco - Departure

At the scheduled time we will bring you to the airport to take the flight to your next destination.
