Inca Trail & Machu Picchu permits 2025 Available from November 4, 2024

The government has notified us that permits for the Inca Trail, for departures in 2025, will be available starting November 4, 2024. Last year, permits for some dates in April, May, and June sold out in just a few hours, so this year it is essential to book well in advance. It is recommended to book before the end of November to secure your spot. Since permits are extremely limited each year, it is ideal to book 7-9 months in advance.

We have received official notice that permits for the Inca Trail, for 2025 departures, will become available on November 4, 2024. Given the incredible demand for this iconic trek, it is critical to act quickly to secure your spot. Last year, permits for high-demand months like April, May, and June sold out within hours, underscoring the importance of booking early.

To improve your chances of securing a permit, we recommend that you make your reservation before the end of November. Planning ahead is essential, as these permits are extremely limited and tend to be fully booked several months in advance. In fact, obtaining your permit 7-9 months before your intended travel date is the best way to secure your spot on this extraordinary journey to Machu Picchu.

Unforgettable experience. The guide, Santiago, is a professional from head to toe. Very attentive, very knowledgeable and a great person. The group of porters and cook have also been wonderful. They have looked after us very well, always with a smile and the cook is a spectacle. Without a doubt, I would highly recommend this team to the next brave people who venture on the Inca Trail.
