DAY 2.-PACHACAMAC RUINS TOUR

We will pick you up from your hotel in the morning and bring you to the Pachacamac Ruins which are located at about 19 miles (31 km) from Lima in the valley of Lurín.

The main parts of the ruins are the "Templo Pintado" (colored temple) and the "Templo Viejo" (old temple). Specialists think that Pachacamac was inhabited between the years 200 and 1533.

After the Inca conquest the "Templo del Inti" (Temple of Sun) and an "acllahuasi" (house prepared for the chosen girls) were built. The Temple of Inti also has a great terrace with a view of the sea.

Unforgettable experience. The guide, Santiago, is a professional from head to toe. Very attentive, very knowledgeable and a great person. The group of porters and cook have also been wonderful. They have looked after us very well, always with a smile and the cook is a spectacle. Without a doubt, I would highly recommend this team to the next brave people who venture on the Inca Trail.
